EcoSessions : Reducing Fashion Waste
October 27, 2016
7:00 – 9:00 pm
Last year Americans discarded 15.1 million tons of clothing and other textiles- and 85 percent of it wound up in landfills. But that’s just part of the story; for evey pound of post-consumer textile waste, the industry generated 40 pounds of input waste. The industry needs to change. This EcoSessions will gather leaders in the latest in ethical fashion and upcycled fashion to discuss how to Reduce Fashion Waste.
7:00 – doors open
7:15-8:15 – Panel Discussion between Jeff Denby (The Renewal Workshop), Maurizio Donadi (Atelier & Repairs) and Sharleen Ernster (Hot-As-Hell). Moderated by Kate Black (Magnifeco.com).
8:15-8:30 – Conversation and networking
